Reserve group study rooms at www.potsdam.libcal.com using any browser at any time. You must have and use a SUNY Potsdam email address to make your reservation. You must check your email and confirm your reservation within one hour. The same reservation rules apply as they have in the past: three hour limit and up to three weeks in advance. Please note that group study rooms are for GROUP use and individuals will be asked to leave and the remainder of their reservation will be cancelled.
We have computers scattered throughout both libraries, and laptops can be borrowed from the Circulation Desks. Please ask at the Circulation Desk in Crane, or the Technology Help Desk in Crumb, for more information about computers.
CTS provides printing through students' Technology Fee. Students can print up to 300 pages for free during each semester and session, and 150 pages during Winterim. Since color printing is more expensive, when printing to a color printer, for every 1 page printed 3 are deducted from your quota. After you reach the semester limit, students will be charged 5 cents per page.
Faculty and staff
Can print up to 100 free pages in college computer labs (including the Libraries) during each semester, session, and winterim. After reaching the limit your department will be recharged and/or invoiced at a rate of 10 cents per page for black and white print outs and 30 cents per page for color print outs.
Can print to a printer behind the Circulation Desk; Circulation staff will release your printouts to you for 10 cents per page, cash only.
All of our resources are authenticated through a proxy server, so if you're off-campus and you click a link on the Libraries' website, you will be asked to log in with your Campus Computer Account. This should allow you to use everything you would be able to use if you were on-campus. If you have any problems, please ask at the Technology Help Desk.
