Strategy
In 2009-2010, the staff of the College Libraries approved a strategic plan for the next several years. The plan is designed to be a living document, one that is not just written and forgotten, but consulted, amended, and enacted as we strive to be the best possible libraries for our campus community. To facilitate that, the SUNY Potsdam College Libraries Strategic Plan can be viewed by all stakeholders, and is regularly updated with progress reports from Jenica Rogers, the Director of Libraries.

Assessment
User Satisfaction
In 2010, The College Libraries developed and distributed a User Satisfaction Survey to assess the importance of and satisfaction with Libraries' services and facilities. This survey was distributed again in 2011, and will be updated and distributed again in 2013.
Crane Library
In 2010, the Crane Library distributed a survey to its users asking for feedback as a tool to inform creation of the report on the State of the Crane Library 2011.
Informal feedback
Library staff often post feedback boards in the lobby of Crumb or Crane Library, or solicit other anecdotal and informal responses.
